What to send

  1. 01 The final master WAV or FLAC, 16-bit or 24-bit. Not an MP3, and not a rough mix you plan to replace.
  2. 02 Artwork, 3000 x 3000 Square JPG or PNG, no blurred edges, no logos you do not have the rights to use.
  3. 03 Titles exactly as you want them Track titles, artist name and any featured artists, spelled and punctuated the way they should appear forever.
  4. 04 Who wrote and produced it Everyone with a share, and what that share is. Sorting this out afterwards is the single most common reason a release stalls.
  5. 05 A release date, if you have one Two to three weeks’ notice gives playlist pitching a chance. Sooner is possible; it just skips that.

Send a link rather than a file — Dropbox, Drive, WeTransfer, anything we can download from. A master is a big upload to make from a phone, and a link never times out halfway.

Nothing goes anywhere until we have talked and you are happy with the terms. A person listens to everything that comes in.

Ask for the agreement first

Free distribution still runs on an agreement — what the split is, how long it lasts, who can take a release down and how you leave if you want to. Ask us for it before you send anything, and we will send it over. Any distributor who will not show you that before taking your master is one to walk away from.

Need the record finishing first?

Mixing, mastering, artwork and the video are all in the building. Distribution is the last step, not the only one.
